Founder & ADHD coach

Natalie Cooper

I specialise in working with creative adults who are sick of plate-spinning, people-pleasing, and running on empty.

My coaching approach helps you get below surface-level noise to understand how your brain works, regulate more easily, and tap into what you really need.

Through practical tools and gentle exploration, you can build confidence, take meaningful small steps, and shift from surviving to really thriving.

My Journey

I got my first glimpse of the real value of this while teaching broadcast and office skills to unemployed volunteers at the BBC. It lit a spark of something in me and I spent the next 20 years searching for “my thing.”

Completing an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology in 2022, alongside running my business taught me about how my brain functioned in a demanding creative life.

After a lifetime of never feeling good enough, people-pleasing, procrastination, and perfectionism, I was diagnosed with ADHD a week before my 49th birthday.

Associate coach & voiceover artist

Alan Stracey

Associate coach

I’m Alan , an ICF certified ADHD coach and neurodiversity consultant offering ADHD coaching, mental health and neurodiversity training to businesses in the creative sector.

As a former Managing Director of a London video production agency, I know the pressures of leading a creative business through an increasingly turbulent commercial landscape - insights that I now applies to his work with neurodivergent professionals across the creative industries.

My Journey

My own own late diagnosis of ADHD at 40 led me to examine my own ‘spikey profile’ - areas of strength and areas of challenge. The new awareness that the diagnosis brought inspired me to retrain as a coach so I could bring that awareness to those, who like me, struggle to reconcile the different parts of themselves: often brilliant business leaders who can simultaneously struggle with elementary tasks.

Employing a mix of challenge, structure and somethingI call Ruthless Kindness, `I give my clients the language, tools and permission to harness the power of their Big Brilliant Brains.

Q&A

What’s your coaching ethos?

My coaching ethos encourages process and progress over perfection. I coach with curiosity, compassion and humour. Everyone with ADHD is different so 1:1 coaching is always tailored to you.

Who do I coach?

I coach people in the creative industries including agency, freelance and in house: creatives (art & copy), animators, designers, PMs, account managers & directors, recruiters, media planners, HR & talent team, product managers, social media managers and content creators.

ADHD coaching is like having a life manager who understands ADHD. In coaching we talk about ADHD challenges and come up with practical ADHD-friendly solutions.

How does coaching work?

We start with defining coaching goals and topics for coaching: for example overwhelm, organisation, productivity, focus, emotional regulation, career progression understanding ADHD and more.

We then make a tailored plan for coaching and think of ideas for coaching sessions. This may change over time.

Some people like structure & worksheets, so we’ll work on exercises in and outside of coaching. Others prefer a more conversational style of coaching

Between sessions you’ll agree on actions to move you forward which we’ll check in on each session for accountability and to test & learn what works.

Example coaching sessions:

  • Understanding YOUR ADHD and meeting yourself where you’re at

    • Uncovering how you self-sabotage: check yourself before you wreck yourself

    • Self-care jenga: you can’t get what you want unless you know what you need

    • Learning how you process information, how you think and work WITH your ADHD brain text goes here

    • Know your strengths so you can use your ADHD for good

    • If it ain’t broke… Reminding yourself what works

    • RSD: knowing your triggers and strategies for emotional regulation

    • Fighting confidence killers like comparison, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome

    • Working on executive function: motivation, impulsivity, memory, planning and organisation, emotional regulation at work or at home

    • Time awareness strategies so you can get more control of your time.

    • Working out what you can control and letting go of what you can’t

    • Using the interest-based attention system and your ADHD strengths to create bespoke strategies

    • Support: working out what help you need and how to ask for it.

    • Organisation: helping you learn how to get your sh*t together and follow through with actions.

    • Achievable goals: breaking goals into steps to help you make changes.

    • Re-writing your ADHD rulebook: creating a personal manual for your brain.

  • Coaching has been as life changing as my ADHD diagnosis. I’ve learned so much about myself but also the strategies to cope with my challenges. I am happier and kinder to myself because of it. I can’t recommend Charlotte enough (I already do at any opportunity!)

HR Talent Manager - creative agency

  • Coaching with Charlotte has been life changing! I came to coaching during a transition in my life and with her incredible support and ADHD knowledge I made changes that have helped immensely. I recommend coaching to anyone navigating their neurodiversity.

    Creative animator

  • As a recently diagnosed adult I found it invaluable to work with Charlotte to understand how my brain works, get to know my ADHD self like a new friend and to help me see where I have been masking. Ultimately she helped me to accept myself for who I am.

    Senior Leader, Tech

  • The most helpful part of coaching was Talking through real life challenges sometimes in real time and feeling understood, guided and supported.

    Freelance Communications Trainer

  • Charlotte has massively helped me with tackling my triggers, and proactive tools I can use to stop me from getting overwhelmed. Before coaching I felt negative and like I'd never 'fix' myself, I've realised it's not about fixing my ADHD, but I can use it in so many ways within my role that others cannot.

    HR Executive, Advertising agency

  • I’d recommend coaching with Charlotte to anyone who is maybe late diagnosed and looking for was to improve things or cope better with “issues” they face with ADHD. They’ll will benefit from learning new skills, tools and understand themselves better.
